Essential Maintenance

This is a little bit hard to interpret. However, I thought it could be reasonably taken to include:

(1) The state of the engine.

(2) The state of the batteries.

(3) The state of the water tanks.

(4) A general check for deterioration or damage.

Some of these tasks meant I had time on my hands which I could use without putting myself or others at risk. (In fact, I had no close contact with anyone from leaving my own front door in the morning to returning to it in the evening).

So I've been able to clear a few things. The main water tank has been disinfected and flushed, the engine has been started and the oil and filter changed, the batteries have been left on charge (the yard has provided a power supply near the boat, which made this possible.)

And the weather was nice, which was a bonus.
